Sunday, Sept. 8, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  3945 N. Springfield (Irving Park Rd. and Springfield Ave.)  

This Sunday, come visit 37 vendors selling products from organic vegetables to tamales and from bison meat to house plants. LINK cards are accepted. This week, the market will also feature an opportunity to recycle electronics (computers, monitors, cell phones, fax machines and more), books and bicycles. Parking is free in the south lot next to the field house or along Irving Park Rd. Look for live music and dance performances, too.

Logan Square Farmers Market

Senator Iris Y. Martinez joined Senator Martin Sanvdoval in a gathering in the Town of Cicero to celebrate Puerto Rican culture and heritage. During the event Senator Martinez had the chance to speak regarding her Puerto Rican heritage and her journey as a Boricua (Puerto Rican) woman in the Illinois Senate.
